The science of Archaeology can help us confirm the truth in the Bible. Archaeology cannot prove the existence of Abraham, Jesus, Peter, or any of our great Bible heroes. Archaeology cannot prove that Jesus lived or that he rose from the dead. Archaeology can only search the earth, not the realm of faith. But, archaeology CAN prove that the Bible is based on FACTS! The Bible is based on real people, real places, real political units, real cultures, and real history! THIS is why we can trust the Bible!
